Before you travel

Frequently asked questions about this trip

Check the operation, connections, accommodation categories and components requiring a quotation.

Is the base price the complete trip total?

No. The base combines the scheduled ground services and two Turkish domestic flights. The Istanbul–Malta flight, Malta admission tickets and environmental contribution, the mandatory charge paid to the guide in Turkey and other applicable components are separate. The complete total will be provided after all services are confirmed.

Which flights are included?

Economy-class domestic flights Istanbul (IST)–Kayseri (ASR) and Izmir (ADB)–Istanbul (IST) are included. The Istanbul–Malta flight and other international flights are not included and can be quoted by Memphis. Schedules and baggage allowances will be confirmed at ticketing.

Does the Malta connection require extra nights?

The domestic return to Istanbul is on Day 6, with accommodation included. The Malta connection is planned for Day 7. Flights and transfers must allow departure and arrival on the same Saturday; only then will the absence of extra nights be confirmed.

Is the trip private, and which languages are used?

Tours, excursions and transfers are scheduled and shared. In Turkey, the guide is Spanish-speaking; in Malta, guidance is multilingual and the language is subject to confirmation. The combination does not include exclusive guides, vehicles or services.

How do the accommodation categories work?

Classic and Selection are alternative combinations. In Classic, the Malta base is Sliema or St. Julian’s; in Selection, San Anton/Balzan. The Cappadocia and Pamukkale hotels are common to both combinations. Categories do not automatically mean a uniform star classification. The final Malta hotel will be advised 14 days before departure, subject to availability and confirmation.

Are Malta admission tickets optional?

Admission tickets for the scheduled Malta visits are quoted separately, but that does not make them optional. They must form part of the complete proposal. Malta Experience, the dgħajsa mini-cruise, harbour cruise and crossing for the Gozo excursion are included according to the itinerary.

Can I book a single room or travel alone?

Published references are for bookings of 2 to 5 paying adults. The single-room price already combines the per-person base and single supplement; do not add the supplement again. For a solo traveller, other party sizes, triple occupancy and children, request a quotation.

Is there a supplement for year-end departures?

Yes. Departures on 26/12/2027 and 02/01/2028 overlap the Turkish section’s event period, from 27/12/2027 to 03/01/2028. They require a mandatory supplement on request, and the base table is not a confirmed price for these dates.

Which excursions are optional?

Istanbul city and Bosphorus tours, the balloon flight and traditional evening in Cappadocia, the cave-hotel alternative and the Blue Grotto boat are optional, on request. The balloon and Blue Grotto boat depend on weather and operation. Gozo is visited with same-day return to Malta, with no overnight stay on the island.

How does the Malta arrival transfer work?

For the group arrival transfer in Malta, the maximum waiting time is one hour relative to the flight’s scheduled time. After that, the transfer is not guaranteed and additional expenses incurred by the traveller are not reimbursed. Early check-in and late check-out are not included.

How long is the quotation valid?

The specific quotation is valid for 15 days from its preparation. Availability, seasonal rates, services and the complete total are reconfirmed in the proposal. This period is not a fixed validity date for all prices on this page.

Which documents and baggage conditions should I check?

Entry documentation, travel requirements and insurance must be checked for each traveller and date. Baggage allowances on domestic and inter-country flights will be confirmed at ticketing; no common allowance is assumed.

Planned hotels or similar. The category is defined by the combination and does not automatically mean a uniform star classification. In Istanbul, the hotel and room type will be confirmed for the booking.

Planned hotels or similar. Location, property and room depend on confirmation. Services advertised on official websites do not establish their inclusion in the package; a view, balcony, suite or upgrade is not guaranteed.

The final property and room will be advised on confirmation. The cave-hotel alternative is optional, with a supplement on request; it is not part of the base.

Accommodation alternatives change the base location while retaining the planned excursions. The final Malta hotel will be advised 14 days before departure, subject to availability and confirmation.

The proposal will identify services charged by Memphis and direct payments at the destination. Provide dates, number of paying travellers, room composition, accommodation category and desired optional activities. Availability and complete total subject to confirmation.
